I believe it is extra price it now than it ever was within the “study to code” period!
The genAI instruments which are getting used within the business proper now are… dangerous; so dangerous, but a number of folks (veteran and new devs alike) are counting on them solely to do their work. So far as I can inform, they do not appear to know the way their AI generated code works in any respect. It is sensible that it will be that method, because you would not anticipate them to ask an AI to implement a function/algorithm they’d applied 100 instances earlier than.
I actually wrestle to see what these devs are gaining from utilizing these instruments… they might get an edge on others of their careers if they simply realized the best way to write nice software program _without_ relying solely on genAI instruments.
